TOURNAMENT & ATTENDEE FAQs
Players must be 18 years or older to participate. The tournament is open to any competitive team that feels capable of competing for the grand prize, regardless of previous OmegaBall experience.
Teams are allowed a maximum of 8 players on their roster. At any given time, teams must have at least 5 players on the field to participate in matches.
The $500 deposit is non-refundable if your team withdraws from the tournament after 11/10/2024. If you withdraw your participation in the tournament after providing a deposit, it will be refunded as long as you notify info@omegaball.com of your cancellation prior to Nov 3rd at 11:59pm ET. Additionally, if OmegaBall cancels the event, the deposit and payments will be refunded in full.
Yes. Prior game film will be provided to all teams, and we will host a team webinar to review the rules and format. Matches consist of 3 periods of 13 minutes each. Teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of 2 matches.
Each division (Men’s and Women’s) will include a pool play stage. The top 6 teams in each division, based on point differential, will advance to the Semi-Finals. The winners of the two Semi-Final matches will proceed to the Championship. A third team, based on point differential, will also join the Championship match.
Yes, teams are responsible for their own travel arrangements. We will provide block room rates at partner hotels, which will be shared with registered teams after sign-up, but it will not be mandatory to stay at those hotels.
Yes, player uniforms will be provided. All players are required to wear shin guards during matches. No jewelry is allowed during play, and teams are encouraged to bring their own warm-up gear.
Personal filming of matches is generally prohibited, as the tournament will be broadcast across multiple media partners. Participants must sign a media release waiver and are not allowed to discuss the outcome of the games on social media or otherwise until all events have officially aired. More information will be shared closer to the tournament.
Athletic Trainers (ATs) and EMT services will be available during games primarily for injury support. Pre-game preparation services will not be provided.
Match schedules will be provided after the payment deadline on November 10th, 2024. The tournament will start on Friday, December 13th, with the first match scheduled for 6:00 PM EST. Please note that all game times are subject to change.
Yes, parking will be available through the venue’s parking lots (P7 is the suggested Parking Structure) and their regulations. Please follow all venue and local parking rules and parking rates.
No, only the 8-player roster and up to 2 coaches will be allowed on the field. All guests must sit in the stands to ensure safety and compliance with broadcast standards. Admission for guests is free (parking is not free). There will be light concessions and restrooms available.
Yes, this includes Friday games and exhibition games throughout the weekend.

Yes - everyone attending, including participants must pay for parking.

No, this is an alcohol free event.
Most events will be filmed. All attendees must release their likeness for the recordings. Some events will be aired live on several streaming platforms.
